You can use CPROXY on two computers, but in different time with 10 minutes interval. In other case, to use CPROXY on two computers do the follow:
- close CPROXY on the first machine
- wait about 10 minutes
- open CPROXY on second computer
In this case you can use CPROXY without license protection violation.
But if you tries to start CPROXY on two computers at the same time, you will get "License protection violation" message from CPROXY.
If you still want to use CROXY for two computers, then please read this post.
Here you can read detailed information about using CPROXY as a proxy-server.
If you still want to use CPROXY both on two different computers without LAN then you need to buy two subscriptions. |

For us to be able to help you. You will need to obtain these information.
1. Operating system of your PC
2. Operating system of your Laptop
3. Model name of you router
4. IP Address of your PC
5. IP Address of your Laptop
Steps:
1. Determine first what computer you will use as a server. It must be the computer that you always use for the connection to be active.
2. Check the IP Address of the computer that you will use as a server. If your using Windows as your operating system, you can check your IP by:
a. Press Windows Key + R. The run box will appear on the lower left corner of your screen.
b. Inside the Run box, type in "cmd" without the quotation and then press the OK button.
c. A window with a black background will appear (that is the command prompt).
d. Inside the command prompt, type in "ipconfig" without the quotation then press the enter key.
e. A lot of information will appear on the window. You can now look for the "IP Address:" that will be followed by some dots. In the end of those dots a number (with a fomat like this xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) resides, that is the IP Address of your computer.
3. After obtaining that information the next thing that you will do is to check the other computer's IP Address.
4. In the computer that will act as the server, open the CProxy application. In the CProxy window, click on Preferences. Look for the radio button "IP List:" then click on it. Beside it there will be a text box that will normally has the value of "127.0.0.1;10.168.1.1". You will need to add the IP address of the other computer that will connect. So if the IP of the other computer is 10.0.0.12, this is how it should look like. 127.0.0.1;10.168.1.1;10.0.0.12 . After that, just click on OK. Then we are done with the server.
5. Let's now check the computer that will connect. Take note that you will *NOT* run a CProxy application on this computer.
6. All you need to do is to set the proxy settings on the computer that will connect.
7. On your favorite browser, open the proxy settings window then put it the IP Address of your server and the Port will be 3128. After that, it should work now.
Just reply in these thread if you were unable to understand my explanation or if you encountered any error.
